More info about CHarlie Sheen and 9/11

Google Caught Censoring Charlie Sheen 9/11 StoryQuickly re-indexes pages during live radio discussion

From http://www.propagandamatrix.com/articles/m...lecensoring.htm

Google is again embroiled in a censorship scandal after being caught blocking information about Charlie Sheen's 9/11 comments, despite the fact that every other major search engine had indexed the pages. For days, major search engines like Yahoo and others contained tens of thousands of web pages relating to Sheen's comments first broadcast on the Alex Jones Show on Monday afternoon. Last night CNN aired a piece on the issue and by early this morning both the New York Post and the Boston Herald ran articles. We first noticed that there were no search results related to the story on Google the day after we broke the Sheen story. At first we decided to be fair and wait another day for Google to index an article which was by now linked on thousands of other websites and blogs. By Thursday afternoon, and with the story receiving more traffic, Google still had not indexed any material relating to the Sheen interview, from Prison Planet.com or any other websites. This despite the fact that the Drudge Report had briefly directly linked to our article, sending it millions of visitors.During a live radio discussion of this issue between Alex Jones and Paul Joseph Watson on Alex Jones' broadcast Thursday afternoon, Google, as if they had people listening to the show, immediately re-indexed the pages and a search for 'Charlie Sheen 9/11' now returns 111,000 results at time of writing.

Pictured below are screenshots we managed to cache shortly before Google re-indexed the pages with the search terms 'Charlie Sheen 9/11' and the entire headline "Actor Charlie Sheen Questions Official 9/11 Story". As you can see, the Boston Herald story is linked from Google News (Google do not censor their affiliates) but the main search engine below returned no results. To stress again, this is three days after we broke this massive story. The usual index time for a story of this size is 12-24 hours and at the same time that Google returned no results whatsoever, tens of thousands were being carried by other major search engines like Yahoo.CLICK FOR ENLARGEMENTCLICK FOR ENLARGEMENTTo make it crystal clear, Google's web spidering process is automated and we have received high Google rankings in the past for nothing stories that get little traffic. The Sheen story was linked everywhere and to eliminate it from Google's search results would have required technicians to physically access the spidering control panel and exclude an enormous amount of varied search terms.Google has a history of censoring websites it dislikes within the US. Google Inc. banned and removed a mainstream news website from all its worldwide search engines, seemingly due to the website's reports on China's geopolitical affairs and military technology.

Google has banned its users inside the US and the rest of the world from accessing the Space War website from its search engine. Space War speculated at the time that this was at the behest of the "boys from Beijing."Space War is a reasonably tame mainstream website that focuses on geopolitical affairs and satellite and military technology advancements. It is based in Australia and carries articles from AFP and United Press International. After a complaints campaign supported by this website, Google agreed to re-index the website.Did our defense of Space War cause Google to impose a blackballing campaign on our major articles or is this just a response to the sheer magnitude and influence of the Charlie Sheen story? To emphasize, Google is now carrying search results related to Charlie Sheen's 9/11 comments, but only after it was exposed live on nationally syndicated radio that they had stonewalled this issue for three clear days even as it raged around the rest of the Internet as a viral story and broke into the mainstream yesterday and early this morning. The floodgates on the Sheen story have opened, with CNN airing a balanced piece on the controversy. Meanwhile mainstream publications like Human Events, the New York Post, CBS and the Boston Herald used Sheen's comments to attack him and demonize anybody who questions the official line on 9/11. A round-up article of today's reaction to Charlie Sheen's comments will follow later tonight.

JagDRS: For those of you who waited to watch Tarpley on CNN last night, the new link at Cloak may explain why you couldn't find it. This new link is an A/V clip of the airing, it happened on CNN's "Showbiz Tonight" segment, and if I recall correctly, this does not air on their main news station, it airs on their headline station. The segment pretty much focuses on Sheen's comments/interview on (what they called) the "radio show of fringe journalist Alex Jones".

They played several minutes of this interview, within which they embedded a news appearance (from when, I don't know) of Tarpley. The Tarpley byte lasted about 10 seconds, during which he was only commenting on some Zogby poll indicating over 50% americans believe there is a coverup. For those of you who are unable to play the clip at Cloak, let me know, I took notes The quick of it is, after finishing replay of the Sheen interview, the guy (hosting Showbiz Tonight) then interviewed live ala point/counterpoint Michael Berger of 911truth.org versus Nicole Ritmeyer - a production exec from PBS (involved in producing an apparently recent 4-hour mini-series on 911).

The interview was too brief, but at leat Berger did not fall flat on his face, did not in any way appear or come off as some whacko glaze-eyed theorist, pretty much only had time to breifly commenting on Sheen's interview and generally agree he'd done his homework", and he had a chance to voice a few of the significant un-answered questions, for which in my opinion Ritmeyer had some really week rebutts, the best of which was "well, the 4-hour mini series we at PBS just aired had the highest ratings of any national geographic program ever". Her ending remark was pretty telling to me; she was asked if she thought the Sheen story and the general notion of 911 cover-up had any legs to it?; to which she replied "oh, gosh, I hope not". Plus or minus the aura of airing on a hollywood gossip news show, I am still shocked that this kind of story made an appearance on any channel of broadcast TV.PS - sorry for tramping on your new post 2Tuff, I could not get on to Unhived the last few hours and I was editing my post apparently the same time you were posting yours.

Release Date:

Website:

http://www.progressivepress.com

For_Immediate_Release:(March 24. I've updated this release that promised CNN would interview Webster Tarpley, please see lower half of text.)March 22. It will be a first for America's mainstream media tonight. CNN Headline News will air an interview with "9/11 Truth" author Webster Griffin Tarpley on Showbiz Tonight (7-8 p.m., replay at 11). Tarpley will comment on Sheen's remarks and size up the various schools of "9/11 conspiracy" thought on CNN. The new edition of Tarpley's "Synthetic Terror" points out the different viewpoints on 9/11, which range from the Bush administration version, to the "bungling negligence" theory partly espoused by the 9/11 commission, to the "Let It Happen on Purpose" or LIHOP theory, a compromise popular among liberal intellectuals like Michael Moore. CNN's move comes in the wake of a far-reaching article in New York Magazine on the 9/11 controversy this week at http://www.nymag.com/news/features/16464/index.html , which cited Tarpley, plus hard-hitting comments by actor Charlie Sheen on the Alex Jones talk radio show, infowars.com, on Monday, see http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/march2006/200306charliesheen.htm Tarpley's book, "9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA" presents the radical view of no hijackers, controlled demolition of the WTC, and an inside job by a "rogue network esconced in key nodes of the establishment."

His Tarpley's publisher, John Leonard of www.ProgressivePress.com, is adamant that "LIHOP" is useless because it leaves intact the story of Arab attackers, and thereby the pretext for war on the Middle East. He and Tarpley subscribe to the "MIHOP" or "Made it Happen on Purpose - from A to Z" explanation. The precedent is Operation Northwoods, a 1962 plan by the Joint Chiefs of Staff to fabricate an atrocity and blame it on Cuba. The plot was nixed by Kennedy. Northwoods documents were released under the FOIA act before Bush took power.According to Alex Jones' website, "Actor Charlie Sheen has joined a growing army of other highly credible public figures in questioning the official story of 9/11 and calling for a new independent investigation of the attack and the circumstances surrounding it. "Over the past two years, scores of highly regarded individuals have gone public to express their serious doubts about 9/11.

These include former presidential advisor and CIA analyst Ray McGovern, the father of Reaganomics and former Assistant Secretary of the US Treasury Paul Craig Roberts, BYU physics Professor Steven Jones, former German defense minister Andreas von Buelow, former MI5 officer David Shayler, former Blair cabinet member Michael Meacher, former Chief Economist for the Department of Labor during President George W. Bush's first term Morgan Reynolds and many more...."The star of current hit comedy show Two and a Half Men and dozens of movies including Platoon and Young Guns, Sheen.... agreed that the biggest conspiracy theory was put out by the government itself... It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75% of their targets, that feels like a conspiracy theory. It raises a lot of questions."Tarpley's message to people of good will: "If you want to stop the war in iraq, and prevent the attack on Iran, the only way to do it is to put 9/11 truth on the front page everywhere. Make the official version explode, or the bombs will." P.S. www.911blogger.com wrote:Tarpley got a very short clip, but the piece was a major hit for 9/11 skeptics, great stuff... we will have a version up shortly so you can check it out.The CNN website is http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/showbiz.tonight/ . We hope a transcript of the show will be posted tomorrow.Video clips have been posted

Update, March 24. The other day, Wednesday, March 22nd (my son's birthday) I got a call around midday from a woman at CNN in New York who asked if I had an author they could put on the air that very evening. They wanted an "objective and balanced" survey of the various schools of 9/11 conspiracy thought for a story on Charlie Sheen. Of course, my heavy hitter on 9/11 is Webster Tarpley, and he even wrote a preface about Lihop and Mihop in the 2nd edition of 911 Synthetic Terror. She'd heard of him through the New York magazine article. I put them in touch, and reminded him they were looking for something neutral. He reminded me that no matter what you say, they will cut and edit it into the shape they want. On the show, it was Sheen and Hammer leaning to the radical side, with the blonde spinning the government yarn, so maybe they wanted somebody more wishy-washy in the middle?Webster says they taped him for 15 minutes and only played 30 seconds (and even that was Lihop, mentioning the Zogby poll in NYC where half the people believed top officials had foreknowledge).

A fellow 9/11 publisher wrote us to say "I think they may have cut your interview because it was 'too good.'" I don't know what was in his outtakes - let's hope they may be used by CNN in future. In fact, we can write to CNN and suggest that.My take was that they were only ready for "cover up" and "unanswered questions" so far - the media want to chew on this a while before getting around to answers. The big difference between Tarpley and much of the 9/11 intelligentsia is that he deals in answers, not just questions, and in political scope rather than minutiae - 9/11 is just part of his devastating challenge to the ruling oligarchy. Yet last night, CNN gave full play to the pugilistic Alex Jones' hard punches on 9/11 truth, as the man who broadcast the original, explosive Sheen interview (see CNN transcripts, http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/sbt.html ). Alex has been hitting the media very hard on their censorship of the Sheen story, and they felt it. Under pressure, the corporate media must look out for #1 - especially newscaster CNN, as the alternative Internet lures more and more of the flock away. After the New York magazine article hit the web on Monday 3/20, Tarpley called it a warning shot by another faction of the elite across the bow of the Cheneyac neo-cons (see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WarOnFreedom/message/2863). Interestingly, the same issue carries an article reviling Larry Silverstein. And after Alex Jones, the second story on Thursday's Showbiz Tonight was about the accidenting of Princess Diana. A coincidence? Or does the undertone - one anti-Silverstein, the other pro-Muslim boyfriend - signal the lines have been drawn for a counteroffensive against the neocons?

ALexandra: Is Sheen actually a "conservative"? That's interesting.I've known for some time that Bush is a closet "liberal," if you want to use such labels.BTW when I use those terms, I'm using terms that the sheeple can easily understand.I'm anti-abortion, anti-sodomy, pro-gun, pro-Constitution, and I'm not a tree-hugging hippie, nor do I think that animals are equal to humans.

bladestorm: I'm a little skeptical about Charlie's motives. His father is Martin Sheen after all.

Alexandra: That's what I'm thinking. But did you notice the CNN poll? When I voted on it, 78% agreed with Charlie Sheen.
